Paris, France

Alex and I took a quick trip to Paris a few weekends ago. Alex had to go for work and I couldn’t pass up Paris, so I joined him.

It was a pretty relaxing trip. Alex had to work all day on Friday so I was free to explore Paris by myself. But I ended up meeting with two of his co-workers wives in the city. It was a pretty rainy day so most of it was spent inside shopping and drinking wine before meeting back up with the guys for dinner.

Saturday was a much better day so Alex and I were able to check out more of the sites together. Our first stop was to Notre Dame. We had been inside before so we decided to go to the roof this time. After many winding stairs up to the top of the cathedral, we were rewarded with fantastic views. We took lots of pictures then made our way back down for lunch. The rest of the day was spent walking through the streets of Paris, gazing at the Arc de Triomphe, and drinking delicious French wine. Once it started to get darker Alex and I went to see the Eiffel Tower all lit up. It was beautiful! It was a great way to end a trip to Paris.
